It was about 10 years ago when I knew what I wanted to do. The place was Moab, UT. It was the fifth day in a row that I had woken up hours before sunrise after going to bed late in the night after photographing the Milky Way. I'm about as far away from a morning person as you can be but it was at that moment when I was hiking to Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park at 4:30 in the morning that I knew this is what I was supposed to do. Since then I've visited almost half of the National Parks in the US and traveled to thousands of locations to photograph.
Since that day I have photographed nearly half of the National Parks in the US and hundreds of other locations around the world. In 2016 I received my advanced open water certification for scuba diving and have photographed commercially underwater. I have a commercial drone pilot licence to photograph from the sky.
I am a landscape and commercial photographer living in San Francisco, CA. I have a degree in Advertising Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. It was there where I learned my way around the studio. I have experience with Broncolor and Profoto lighting systems. I am familiar with Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Phase One camera systems.
